Mark is now taking orders for the MCH Bubble Caps (beetle patches). The Colorado State Forest Service has recommendations for how many patches you’ll need for the area you want to protect (see pdf doc below). We can get the ordered and store them for you as long as you plan on being out before mid-May. There is limited storage space so please let us know as soon as possible if you want to secure some patches.

We have been informed by the CSFS that the pricing has changed; they are moving to a graduated cost scale. It will actually be a bit cheaper from last year, depending on the quantity ordered. The pricing listed on this document would apply only if you’re getting the patches yourself. If you would like Canyon Caretaking to deal with contacting the Forest Service, paying for the patches, picking them up, and storing them, and placing them on your trees; there will be an added fee for this service.
